Italia and our Waterloo

Warning!! Traumatic Pictures follow for NZers....

Cellphone pics from the disastrous night at Cardiff. After our mad dash from a hilltop village in rural Italy to Millenium Stadium and back, we felt more than a little bit shattered. The atmosphere had been so exciting before the match, Kiwi accents all through the streets, games of rugby in pubs and in front of the castle. We wandered back to our friends place afterwards thinking "how did that happen???" At least in Italy nobody cares about the rugby so we have been able to pretend it was all a bad dream..

Here´s a wing of the amazing Palazza Forani, where we had a great week with Kiwi and Aussie mates

From the left; Joseph, Geoff, Chiara, Katie, Jack, Jamie, Miranda and Anna!

Not all our meals were so flash, although Italy has the best takeaway food in petrol stations you´ve ever seen (pizzas of course)
