Our return to Argentina involved public buses, a ferry across a lake, and then hitching across the final stretch of the Andes. We had a nice warm van to ride in while we raced Sam and Jamie who were in the back of a ute across the border back to San Martin de Los Andes.
Our last ride back to El Bolson - a german couple who had travelled from Alaska all the way down (in the end) to Tierra del Fuego in their VW van. They drove us about 300km to home!! We sent them on their way to Tierra del Fuego with loads of veges and good Argentinian meat!!

Home again, and knitting away... the three wicked witches
When we went for a climb at a local crag we happened to come across these bullocks working in the forest.
The place we have stayed for the last 2 and a half months. From left to right: Sam, Becks, Nico, Katerina, Jamie and me.
