Clue!!!
ClueHere is the second clue as to the mystery objects! When we asked what they were, this nice lady showed us this "sheet" object she had made. A silk scarf to the smart cookie that figures this out!!

I think that they're old palm kernels/shells and that the matt has been woven from the shell fibre.
I mean the matt has been woven from the palm leaf fibres : )
coconut fibre or copra
Rubber of some tree fruit
sheets of latex/gum
