We found a pub that serves Tui!

The 'Gors Bach' hosts a bunch of Kiwi shearers every year, and the publican is a mad keen NZ fan. He has All Blacks posters and shearer's singlets from out-of-the way spots like Akitio and Pongaroa on the walls. The beer is brewed in London and is pretty popular with the farmers that crowd in on the weekends. The photo above shows Andy Short (Akl) with a pint, the day we watched NZ beat Ireland in the cricket. (The Welsh have barely noticed there's a World Cup on)



Here's Katie doing her thing at The Anglesey Sea Zoo cafe. It's kind-of like Kelly Tarltons, only with no penguins.
Kate is working 4/5 days a week, serving it up to the retired couples and family groups that come to the Sea Zoo. British kids love crisps and slush puppies.


These shots are from a tunnel up in the slate quarry above Llanberis. We were looking for a some friends on our first climbing trip up there, and discovered the setting sun was shining right through a 25m long tunnel. It was quite eerie, so we came back the next evening and took some photos. Katie looks like an alien penguin in the next shot..
